Burnout and stress are two of the most common issues people face in our busy world.

Writer: Helen JHelen J

They can have a huge impact on your mental and physical health, as well as your relationships and work performance.

The causes of stress and burnout are numerous and varied, and can include a lack of control over your work or life, working long hours, worrying about money, or feeling overwhelmed.

However, the most common cause of burnout is prolonged stress. When stress is prolonged and not managed, it can lead to a state of physical, emotional, and mental exhaustion.

When dealing with stress and burnout, it’s important to recognize the signs and take action. The first step is to take a step back and assess the situation.

Try to identify the source of the stress and take steps to manage it. This could include talking to a friend or family member, getting professional help from a therapist, or taking time off work.

It’s also important to make sure you’re getting enough rest and taking time for yourself. Try to prioritize activities that make you happy and notice when you’re feeling overwhelmed.

Taking regular breaks and getting enough sleep can help reduce stress levels and prevent burnout
